A company like this needs to put out a release to let everyone know what is going on (especially in these bearish technology times). I am waiting for such news before I jump in again.

Ask and ye shall receive; I assume now you've seen the NR.

*This* is why I think it's worth sticking with WEB. This is what I was looking for. I know they aren't ready to execute all the potential with Answers.com, etc. today, but this gives us a peek into what is coming...and more important, assurance that something *is* coming.

that fact only accentuates my point..."do they know something too?"

It's funny, when you think about it: it would be interesting to poll how much time and effort, how many words, how many posts, are expended on speculation about patterns we see, or think we do, in purchases and sales of the stocks we own. Flip through any thread and you'll find it the same everywhere. On US boards, the evil MM's manipulate stocks to trample us good little guys. On CDN ones, where there aren't really MM's per se, the brokerages nevertheless hold stock down, or prop it up, at will it seems.

I'm laughing at myself, too, don't worry, and I wonder if some of the traders for these houses don't flip through these boards every now and then for a laugh at the speculation on what they're really up to.

Don't get me wrong, I believe they do some manipulation - hey, with a bit deeper pockets *I* could move the price on a stock with this small a trade pool every day - but it's funny how quick we are to see patterns and manipulation in everything.

I was encouraged to see a single 50K order go through because, whether someone knows something or not, it demonstrates that someone with deeper pockets than I has confidence enough to put $130k into it. I was interested, no more, to see almost everything yesterday bought by one house (for themselves? for a client? for multiple clients? who knows?).

McD has been selling for some time. And that could be significant (I dont' think so) or it could just mean they bought in very early and are slowly getting out very good gains to put into something else.

Anyway, still in - and not because someone else bought - and not worried because McD has been net selling for some time.

Best in all your investments.
