<I agree these two corrections have certainly given everyone the hibee jeebees.....but it
seems to me when it comes to the market the memory period is very short so that pretty
much kills your theory......>

Here's my personal experience:

12/97 - 4/98: Fabulous. Long cmgi from 10; long ebay from 15; long aol from 20; long amzn from 25; long gnet from 25. You get the picture.

4/98 - 6/98: Holding to avoid taxes. Down 45%.

6/98 - now: Unloading. Now 99+% cash. (Long 100 shares gnet. Guess why? <g>)

Let's see how short my memory is. It's called capital preservation. The survival instinct.

<also I think institutional buying will make up for those now
with cold feet keeping gnet steady or a bit up in the short term>

I do think Thursday's very strong showing was institutional buying. This is a very good sign and what I would expect for a well-positioned company in a very promising market segment.

<This may be wishful thinking
but I envision GNET running up better and faster than other internets as it did in the last
pull back and I see this happening faster than we all would imagine.....>

The earliest this will happen will be Aug 24. Could be longer. I am taking it a day at a time....

<I now think this
because every time I thought it couldn't happen it did so now what does not sound
completely logical must be right...now that makes perfect sense to my brain what about
yours. >

In a bear market, this kind of thinking leads to bull traps. Be careful.
