GSTX has entered into various capacity swaps and joint-build agreements (the latter with LVLT, others?) here and there, but mainly they are building out fiber for their own use. MFNX has no true peers that I know of.

Some info on Metro Loops: Only 3% of all US Commercial Buildings connected with Fiber. Spread over 52 large Cities
According to MCIWorldcom, if Metro Loops would cover 85 large US Cities, it will provide access to 3/4 of America?s business telecommunications network.
4.5 million commercial buildings are connect by copper only.
