I respectfully disagree. The only portion of the model that does not produce sufficient revenues is the presentment side. There's lots of ways to look at it, and I'm not sure who is right. Personally, I believe that maximizing the convenience for the customer will win out... What's good about recurring payments function - Users like it so they don't forget to pay a bill, or they can have bills paid when they are away on business or vacation (so some users might only sign up for a service with this capability... better to get the eyeballs only occasionally than never) - The more inputs required by the user the more mistakes they make. More mistakes more customer service costs. - Requires more resources on the www site of the presenter. resources = money What's bad - Loss of recurrent eyeball revenue - must be others...
