Annette You know yhoo "gives away" a lot of services as well. So do NBC, ABC and CBS. msft has the capital, technology and installed base to win this war against aol. AOL is fighting two major wars against T and MSFT. The only wildcard in this equation is FTC/justice dept./FCC. While its nice to root for the underdog(AOL), its nicer to have $money in the bank. fwiw: I am now an aol short(and a msft long which I have been for a while).
