NORE - NorAm Signs Agreement With Imagineering Systems Inc. for Distribution of Revolutionary Keno Blower TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 1999--NorAm Gaming and Entertainment Co. (OTC BB:NORE) announced today that the company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Imagineering Systems Inc., of Las Vegas, Nev. Imagineering Systems Inc. will distribute NorAm's new VM-20 Keno Blower exclusively within the state of Nevada and on a non-exclusive basis world wide. The staff and management of Imagineering have collectively over 200 years experience in the Keno industry. Imagineering's trademark is ''The Keno People'', because, according to President, Bill Williams, ''That's all we do, that's all we plan to do.'' Imagineering, a private company with offices in Las Vegas, Reno and Laughlin, Nev., and Omaha, Neb., now enjoys a 90 percent market share of all the computerized Keno games in the world. It is recognized as the world leader, with over 200 installations from Nevada to Nebraska; from riverboats to cruise ships; from Europe to Turkey to Canada; and on Indian Reservations throughout the United States. Numbered among Imagineering's customers are: (CIRCUS CIRCUS; EXCALIBUR; LUXOR & MONTE CARLO; NYSE:MBG), (FLAMINGO HILTON & LAS VEGAS HILTON; NYSE:HLT), (FOXWOODS RESORT CASINO; LEDYARD, CT), (RIVIERA HOTEL & CASINO; AMEX:RIV), (THE BOYD GROUP; NYSE:BYD), (TREASURE ISLAND & GOLDEN NUGGET; NYSE:MIR) and VENETIAN HOTEL AND CASINO, LAS VEGAS. According to NorAm CEO, George C. Zilba, the initial agreement with Imagineering Systems is for a one (1) year period and requires Imagineering to attain certain sales quotas in order to maintain their exclusive distributorship for Nevada. Zilba further stated that ''it is our hope that we can extend Imagineering's agreement both in time and in territory following the first year of sales. We, along with Imagineering, are confident that we have a product that will be in demand in the world keno market.'' The blower uses the same copyrighted Vaprel software that is used to automatically read the ball in NorAm's Thunderbolt Bingo system. Average read time is less that .25/sec. and the read/error ratio is zero. NorAm will display a working model at the World Gaming Expo. in Las Vegas, September 14-15-16. Currently, the new blower system is being interfaced with Imagineering's software in their Reno, Nev., lab. NorAm acknowledges that the company already has orders in hand for the equipment through joint sales efforts over the past few months, while the design was being perfected. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
