Bill, i would say the market is hanging on a very thin thread here... the breakdown in the transports and the financials tells me we're not done yet with the downside. otoh, the SPX successfully defended it's 200-dma and the Dow continues to hold above important support (which i peg in the low 10,600's). so it may be a matter of a single day's trading from here. if those supports fail on monday i would expect things to turn real ugly real quick. i also don't like the dipsters' impatience...it shows how much complacency there still is. we have not had true capitulation yet and i would be very surprised if we didn't get it at some point, and soon. regards, hb
