<<Techtel's research also confirms the renewed momentum of Dell (DELL:Nasdaq). Kelly says the number of businesses considering buying a Dell is about 30% higher than a year ago, while the number considering a Compaq (CPQ:NYSE) has fallen by around 60%. "Compaq's biggest problem now is failing to attract new customers," he says. "That's the typical thing that happens when opinion goes negative on fundamentals." Compaq, of course, is trying to right itself with new management.>>

Gabriel: Great find....IMHO, this could be an outstanding quarter for DELL and all of the patient, LONG TERM shareholders <G>.

Best Regards,

Scott

Gabriel...being a Mac user since 1985 and depending upon it for my living, I don't think the bubble, you're seeing in AAPL, will make much penetration in the corporate sector. While my business still depends on AAPL for its livelihood, I think the migration to the world of wintel has begun in earnest. All graphics software that used to be coded exclusively for the Mac now has a simultaneous release for both platforms and in some cases the release written for the wintel side has more bells and whistles.

I do believe that Steve Jobs does have his focus on the consumer side and will grow that business substantially.
