Craig, You read the book the wrong direction. Always start an investment book at the end, where they tell you what to do. The rest is just an excuse. <g> These guys tell you to buy yesterday's leaders at any price because they are going to be tomorrow's leaders. Basically, the greater fool theory with a smaller list of names.

Most of the fundamental stuff they covered was excellent, as it was all based on backward looking research. But it doesn't change the fact that their concept of buying leaders at any price whatsoever ONLY works in manic bull markets.

I also noticed that the authors mentioned how rich you would be if you followed this plan, but all three guys still seem to be working to put food on the table. <g>

BTW, it wasn't the worst book I ever read, though it does encourage people to overpay grotesquely for a handful of stocks. At least it keeps them out of the true crapola.
