By my reckoning, an August bear call still remains a possibility. First, volumes on S&P at this 11% "correction" level appear to me as still robust. This suggests the selling pressure has not yet been exhausted. If the selling pressure does get used up soon, then the market has a chance to retest the old highs. I think that fear of a rate rise on Aug 24 is no longer a suppressive factor, since it is already accepted as a done deal by the market. Hence, a rise to the old highs is possible between now and the end of August.

As for this weekend, I hope BB can arrange a live feed including the audience--those have been quite enjoyable shows.
