TG,

This developement about the E and possible delisting from the OTCBB was an unexpected occurence to a lot of BANY shareholders. I believe that produced the selloff today by those that thought it was a total delisting to the pinks without any chance of remaining on the BB. The facts are that BANY is a reporting company, but they are still in the comment phase whereby the SEC doesn't have to give the green light until all comments have been addressed to their satisfaction. Once the SEC is satisfied, the E appendage to the stock will be removed and the stock will be continued to be quoted on the BB without further problems IMHO. Can the stock go to the pinks? This may happen possibly if the deadline isn't met. Will it happen? I don't know if it will or not, but if it does I would make the assumption that it would be temporary as they are in fact a reporting company. It didn't change any of my opinions about what the companys stock valuation meant to me or my own opinion about the future direction for the company, but 2 sides make a market and uncertainy is always a mitigating factor in where a stock is valued. I have been a shareholder here for about 2 years and there have always been tremendous swings in the stock as optimism and pessimism about developements run rampent. When I see on the chat boards others opinions about where they believe the stocks price may be headed, I will weigh that with my own analysis to determine what type of sentiment is happening. Just as when someone says that the stock is going to 3 on momentum or that the stock is going to 1/2, usually said without any type of analysis or substance behind that opinion, you should always have your own valuation model to compare reality to what may actually be happening. I have been very satisfied with my own investment in the company over the years and look at it as such. There have been many ups and downs, the last big one in my mind was the commencement of trading of ANYI, but it finally happened after many months of speculation and aggrevation. The dividend shares of ANYI that I recieved as a BANY shareholder have more than paid for my investement of BANY shares that the dividend was declared on and we shall see what the future will bring for ANYI. All I can say to sum it up is that investment decisions should be made based on your own analysis of a companies valuation, the market will be the final decision maker of pricing, but the markets valuation will swing up or down depending upon material events and sentiment, sometimes not reflecting your own analysis model. That can create opportunity in either direction for traders and investors. I guess we shall see how this current chapter in the story plays out in the next month or so.
