LindyBill, I agree. The significant thing about Globalstar's entry is it's potential to open up the network and the marketplace for CDMA. The less risky play is the plumber. In this case Qualcomm. It own's the standard.(CDMA) In like fashion Cisco is the plumber who own's the standard(IOS) in networking. Just as MSFT and INTC have established the standards for their segments. It sounds like the Gorilla Game. Globalstar is part of Qualcomm's value chain creating a further lock and growing market for the young simian. After reading the report, my response was to add to my QCOM position.
