Hello Henry,
<<forward start sterling vs euro convergence trade>>'
Let's pretend I'm, say, the Orange County treasurer. Can you explain this to me?-g-

By the way, I see new Freddie Mac 10 year paper yielded 8.02% this week, FNM 5 year 7.25%. Ought to slow down some mortgage activity. Wonder what the Di-Tech weasel will be saying in his next ad?

Henry and Bill, Bill Fleckenstein, in his Daily Rap, claims that Goldman is the firm that had some problems with swaps yesterday. Wow, they used to be smart before they went public. <g>

Thanks, Henry. Wednesday was the first time I noticed big move in the long bond due to concerns. Stock jocks haven't seemed to care much about what's been bothering the bond market until very recently. Always thought the bond boys were smarter than the stock jocks. Smarter and a bit more neurotic. <g>
