Re: And no disrespect meant here, but some of us old-timers look at a flood of newcomers on these threads as a sign that the stock is near its peak and is ripe for selling!

Dipy, speak for yourself!

Jock, you've made your case very well (pun intended)! I'll second all the points counter-points. If we get to $100/$120, I'll be a very happy camper!

Dipy: I disagree. The indication that a stock is at its peak is when a bunch of uninformed and immature investors start to show up after a spectacular rise in the stock. Usually these are the sort of clowns who brag about spectacular returns after the fact. To date, I have seen very little of that. Rather the number of posts that pertain to LSI constitute a high percentage of what is posted. Moreover, there isn't a single bull on this thread that believes that LSI will go to the moon and never come back. Rather the appeal of LSI is not only cutting edge technology but the soap opera quality of a company in an unpredictably cyclical business.

Hey All:

Quite a correction in all the averages last week, huh, but select stocks are holding up well and they happen to be semi's. Two that I play hit new highs: IDTI and ole LSI. I bought back in last week on that crazy ride down at 46. I didn't buy that much though, given how things were going that day. Looks like I'm just not going to get that 40-42 that I was hoping for, so just let her ride...

By the way, MOONRAY:

How does that LSI vs. AOL YTD comparisson look now ? : )
