Price range: 11 - 13
Led by: Hambrecht & Quist
My take: A high-appeal community site, strong underwriters and a great name. This is almost a pure e-commerce play, which is unusual for community sites. Better than 90% of revenue come from product sales. I'm hearing a decent level of buzz on this deal.

The GDEN buzz on the street

09/13/99 -- The deal is now oversubscribed, with a focus on improving the quality of the book. With limited competition for investor's attention and buying power this week, we think the deal will be a premium.

09/14/99 -- The deal is now a few times oversubscribed.
