Craig,

The reason is that many smart employees get that stuff in their employment contracts these days... some form of employment protection in the event of this kind of situation.

I also believe there is some form of protection for employees provided by law. (a minimum notice period).

In addition the reason I say NSM will eat it is because they said they would be paying based on time at the position, so if it's not severance, what the hell are they giving them?

(It was in one of the releases).
