There was no conversation on the per mailing cost. It would likely fluctuate with each endevor. The cost of the Lifetime attempt should be about 1m. The instruction manual mailing was expensive but a necessary requirement. The followup mailings are a letter and brocure.

There have been over 10,000 inquires so far and school has not opened yet. The responses should continue as the schools open and the mailings continue. This is just from the first mailing.

The closing rate would be phenominal if you use the Lifetime expectations but we all are using a subdued number for our expectations. The final approximation will be in as the schools are to remit their desire to participate the 2nd week of Sept or about the 15th. My expectation is for 10,000 schools to participate.

The calling list Amy was given was for less than 5,000 but she mentioned thousands so I assumed about 3,000. The funding will allow for the emphasis to pick up with the opening of the school year. The calling is to continue to about the end of the year. It's success will be the bearing on whether this form of contact carries a large enough worth to continue with other contracts. I think it will.

Something to remember, in my estimation, is the Lifetime deal states the schools but the second deal in this one is the Music Depts. They will have separate needs to be addressed from within their dept. They will likely do their own fund raising according to their scheduled needs. My guess is that is why the Music Depts have been singled out by TSIG for the phone contact. The Music Depts could raise the return of the whole contract by another 20%+. Their expenses can be quite high especially if trips are involved. They could possibly participate even if the school didn't.
