KHS, Good point about backlog.

MSFT and other companies often mention that purchases for an existing product are often deferred when an anounced upgrade product is forthcoming. So there is often pent-up demand for the new product once it becomes generally available.

Such may indeed be the case with ASPT.

When ASPT rolled out the CRM Portal a week ago, they announced two new customers (who had probably been beta sites and then bought). It is reasonable to expect that ASPT had numerous existing customers who were either beta sites or were contacted about beta testing, but who wanted to wait until the product was out before buying... Those sales should happen this quarter or next.

Certainly the PR about CRM Portal they disseminated at their recent well-attended User's Group meeting will have stimulated sales that will fall into this quarter and next.

ASPT's staying power in the face of this market decline is very encouraging.
