Let's have an earnings and subscriber growth contest.

Earnings = $.05
Sub growth = 6%

Has this company ever surprised to the upside? I got burned last time when the banks were reporting huge numbers of new online customers, thinking this in some way would reflect positively on Checkfree.

I cannot remember who said it, but it came up after last earnings release, "I will buy put options before earnings...I will buy put options before earnings."

It would be nice to start seeing these portal rollouts. The longer they wait, the harder it will be to make 5 million subscribers by next June.

Also of concern is MSFT's new plan to give away all kinds of services, including internet access. I saw an article by the Fools arguing that AMZN should use their hundreds of millions in cash to continue to undercut other online retailers, and accept operating losses for the next ten years. By then all other less well-funded companies are out of business and AMZN can raise prices and start making bundles of money. I do not agree with this strategy, but MSFT has $22 billion in the bank. That ought to be enough to put a lot of companies out of business.

Here's hoping for good news...
