>>>Because every one expects the events of last summer to take place currently, there will be many shorts betting on the market going down which will be trapped.<<< look at the charts .... this is our October 1998 .... it has come early ... it caught many off gawrd .... expectations of a summer rally ... a summer rally that did not occur for the DOW ... the DOW went sideways all summer, since April, all of may june and July flat the NAZ gave us a 2 week rally ... that was it ... ... the NAZ has a nice tail now ... on the daily chart now look at mid-October .... ahhhh .... it will come early .... or we are dead meat ... hehe heh

re: internet stocks.. I agree with that person whoever wrote it.. do u believe CNBC quoted an analyst (didn't get his name)late afternoon friday that most big cap internet stocks had corrected 60% give or take (some are more) but its not over yet and still need to correct up to 80%!!! and possible to test the OCTOBER LOWS of last year??? I think that's RIDICULOUS! The whole situation is the "institutional" had missed the boat and they want to get in bad... my only take is these institutional and analysts are indeed spreading fears all over that causing alot of investors jittery taking profit as much as they can.. they indeed want the internet to burst so that they can jump the boat that they missed!! maybe they will get their wish.. I HOPE NOT... just a thought.. eL...
