hi steve, re " I find you always have to second-guess your true motivations, to stay out of trouble in this biz" particularly true for me with guys like cramer. so i stay away. this is funny to admit, but i sometimes find that i want to short a stock because i've lost money on it in the past. it's ridiculous. fortunately, i'm aware that emotions have just crept in, and i hold off, and it becomes a source of amusement for me. but it makes me wonder how many traders get caught in that trap? :) mark
