Doug-the Irish and the English aren't known for their food..the English are certainly known for their sweets.. hope we will not get into a discussion of food..although I am always looking for a good recipe.. I didn't find his remarks having any common sense.. Common sense would dictate a global legislation would have to be put in place re controlling leveraged fund etc..not one government.. also is Greenspan in denial? I can't remember his quotes thank goodness but he seemed to say in the past that isn't a problem.. The Malaysians have gotten it right..and I think they are doing just find now.. Again the world needs liquidity to move on..but not liquidity that is simply used for financial instruments.. ps still watching those defense stocks and those defense contracts..
