Like I said, smug and defensive. I would me more interested in an insightful analysis of why the magic Buffett formula isn't cooking along so well right now. It would help me determine whether to buy in again after selling at a small profit a few days ago. You should read Jason Zweig's column in the latest Money magazine. It's a screaming indictment of anyone who tries to play the market in any way except traditional Wall Street fashion. This from a bunch of overpaid mouthpieces who consistently underperform the market averages. Rah, Rah, Rah. The only way to win is to play the game OUR way. PS Read my 50% Gains Investing thread and you will see that I don't play lottery tickets. But I am well ahead of the market averages with a diversified, medium-risk portfolio.
