An error GG made was to write that in 6 months people would be able to use a Globalstar phone from anywhere on the planet. That's stretching a bit of regional coverage to ridiculous extremes. It'll be years before we can claim global coverage including most of the oceans. False expectations shattered are the doom of salespeople and companies. GSTRP owns 32% of GLP. Actually, I think it's 34%. RocketScientist, do you have the precise capital structure of GLP at the moment = who owns how many shares and how much debt there is total. It keeps changing on me and it's hard to keep up. I had some links and they now say 'The Page Cannot Be Displayed', so it's back to heavy duty wading. Anyone else? Thanks, Maurice RS, on the ethics of the Gilder Report link, to suggest there was anything wrong in posting it was ludicrous. I suppose if one subscribed and had agreed to comply with the copyright terms you agreed to such as not publishing, copying, bits and byting it they could possibly make a case that you KNEW that it was a mistake and that it was private property to be read only by subscribers. I read the document, put in a link [one step removed] and I had no idea from the document that it wasn't freely available. It had 'Copyright' on it, which means, unless you are Universal Pictures which has a very weird idea of who can link to what, that you can put that url anywhere you like so that people can find it. That is what search engines do. They find and publish urls. I think GG would not object to any links which were published, and in any event, within hours the link was barred. Printing and illegal copying would not be so popular with them. I imagine his sales have zoomed since GSTRF zoomed on his say so and he got a lot of publicity. The kafuffle over the link won't have hurt him either.
