Rambi, I think you are going to find your porch getting more and more crowded -- with refugees. As a matter of fact, you probably already have.

There is nothing I love more than a good argument, for example. However, a good argument is a non-competitive sport, something like kayaking. (Have I got that right, you kayakers?) Perhaps not enough people enjoy it played that way. Many won't play unless there's a "winner." And for some, not even a contact sport -- one in which the "loser" is "pinned" -- is sufficient; it has to be a blood sport. The "loser" has to be slain.

It is a lovely morning, it is. If you look over your shoulder, you can see the tv screen through the window. Woody has just been demoted from woodpecker to pigeon. He is very upset. He's taking lessons in how to be a pigeon right now.

I learn a lot on Saturday mornings.

This is a great porch. I brought some cusions to put in the seats, the kind like my granny used to stitch together.
