Amein, Yes it is depressing to be below your entry point, but if you have a few losers, you can try to separate the wheat from the chaff, as Scarecrow advises. You could sell FLWS, BNBN, etc. and reinvest the proceeds in beaten down quality stocks. Of course, you MUST keep diversified, but you can try for a higher general quality portfolio than most of us have developed during the past year or so when everything flew.
Just remember what Bernard Baruch said was his key to success "I never sold at the top" My rule is "Buy where you think it's a good price." Its like a house, you buy what you can afford and like. it doesn't matter what your neighbor paid unless you are selling. Your cost is CMGI is irrelevant unless you want to sell, which you shouldn't IMHO.
