I am with iceshark. I post them as i get the confirms in a spreadsheet. then hand the thing to the cpa.

Quicken makes a fair program. It will make you a long/short cap gain
print out ready for the sch D. Mine some times hangs up my computer. I have talked to others that say they have not had that problem so it may be my clunky machine.

I knew the Kahunae wouldn't let me down. Thank you all so much for the suggestions. My husband was just impressed that all these knowledgeable men actually interact with me and responded! Haaaaa! And he thought I was doing nothing here.

We ended up getting something that isn't Quicken but is similar. ANd then he decided it wasn't working so he invented his own spreadsheet. And it turns out we overpaid last April so I get some back! Now we are entering this year on the new program in hopes of getting a jump on next year's return. I really think it's not so much the program as the diligence one uses in staying current. And that's my fault.

But anyway--- thank you. You guys are wonderful.
