I thought the auctions could have brought the number down, too.

William,

I really wish Amazon would break out their categories. The numbers could easily be skewed by the auctions. Blodget may not have thought of that.

I took a long position and I wish to stay long Amazon. My problem is I am a fundamental investor and I believe last year much of Amazon's movement was due to momentum investing which is ceasing now. I wish I knew it last year;-) My point is Amazon has created a well known brand name. .One that is known for quality service. This was their goal. Management has done a wonderful job at doing that and I admitted to you publically in the past, I was wrong on this issue. I believed they could not do this. I would feel more comfortable if I knew how cross selling was coming and which product lines had good revenue growth. I wish management would provide that to me and others of course. Fundamental investors need to understand the company.

By the way, Blodget seemed to focus a lot on cross selling during the wrong time of year. Cross selling will not happen to a large extent during the non holiday season. The fall will be very important as far as determining the success of Amazon. Profits are not necessary in this determination. Cross selling is in my opinion.
