Ha! Ha! Revealing indeed!
Ha! Many paras indeed! when a few sentences were chopped into "paras" for neatness' sake!

My religion allows me to have 4 wives at any one time!!! (a big plus as far as I am concerned and this is a very practical societal thing, too, especially in an area where women outnumber men)! Is this very revealing too?

Don't forget that from the beginning, astrology and astronomy were one. The study of the stars enabled early man to tell time, to make calendars and to foretell natural events for the hoi polloi. This is very evident in Chinese and Egyptian history and, if memory serves, in the Mayan records, too. It awakened man to the realization that a "cyclicality" exists in nature. Later on it was also realized there existed a 'synchronicity' between stellar/planetary configurations and mundane events and in the lives of individuals ("As Above, So Below"). And so it came for astrology with its interpretative/divining aspect to begin flourishing from the time of the Ptolemies until the time of the Inquisition. (From Galen to Paracelsus, astrology was used to help in the diagnosis of an individual ailments. Too bad they lacked our modern facilities. But it has served its purpose).

Astrology has, in its unique way, made an indelible contribution in the past. Today that contribution is largely forgotten due to the influence of the Church and the ignorance and arrogance of those who don't understand it.

Today, one may say that astronomy is astrology less its former interpretative aspect! <ggg>

In the course of evolution when man will attain a complete integration of his outer and inner selves, I believe astrology will be seen to have validity, and many will experience the gnosis, "Why haven't/couldn't I see that before." Also, by then, astrology may no longer be considered necessary despite its validity.

P.S. Any dictionary will tell you that T.B. is the abbreviation for tuberculosis.
