Hi, bearcub. C.K.'s post said 2 gallons, not 2 quarts.

<Might not have to use lethal force to protect, as you suggest>

HUH?? What are you talking about? What "lethal force"?

Boy, you're one weird guy. First you give me this long berating post about "2-quarts" of water not being adequate.[I never said 2-quarts was adequate. I've always said "2-gallons" minimum.] And talk about some "lethal force" that I have NO idea what you're referring to.

[[If anyone's interested on the content of this post I'm responding to ... just [click] on that number (866) next to bearcub's name]]

kholt was the one who implied that 2-quarts were all that was necessary, with a partial quote to a FEMA link. Why didn't you disagree with kholt? Why didn't you disagree with her, instead of me?

I'm the one who posted the entire verbage of that FEMA link ... clarifying the "2-quart" bit.

Then when daffodil tells you, I never said anything about "2-quarts" - that I said "2-gallons" ...

You come up with this:

<she amended it later, daffodil, after karen holt 'corrected her' by pointing out that FEMA said we only needed 2 quarts a day of potable water if we are normal :)

What's the point you're tryin to make, bearcub? I'm sure I'm not the only one confused about your "message".

Can you read the CONTENT of posts???
Can you read the TIME of the posts??

Here's where I initially referenced "2-gallons":

Here's where kholt did the post about "2-quarts"

Here's where I reinterated 2-gallons

What's your problem? Why do you go around from thread to thead, like a shadow, trying to discount or distort what I have to say? Can't figure you out.

Do you agree with kholt's partial post from FEMA that 2-quarts of water per day is adequate? I don't.

Or FEMA's recommendation of at least 1-gallon of water per person, per day [2 qts for drinking and 2 qts for food preparation and hygeine] ... for 2 weeks.

Or my stance, of a minimum 2-gallon per person, per day?
