Bill, At the time of Crazy Eddie, I was living in New York. Wasn't experienced enough to be shorting stocks, but from the street-level, it was amazing that the store IPO'd at all, and even more amazing how it zoomed up. It was one of those crappy, rip-off, New York stores which claimed "best prices" in the window. A home electronics version of DRD, with a lot of outright fraud thrown in. Most consumers were NOT fooled. mg
