Hmmmmm...

At pricewatch.com, Lynn Comp is advertising the K6-2 500 for $119 with availability being late August. In the past, Lynn Comp has initally priced their chips on the higher side of the scale until the chip has been released. If their expected price and release date is correct, we will surely have the 500MHz K6-2 selling for around $100-$110 in the beginning of September.

That is around the same time the PIII 500's, and probably the Athlon 500's, price will be $240, if my memory is correct.
