Dan, not all of the stocks I listed were Bill's picks, but rather stocks that the longs claimed were going to crush the shorts. Large float or not, a stock will sooner or later trade on it's fundamentals (re:ZONA). In this bull market, historically small and microcaps have been better shorts. Might explain his preference in short picks. I haven't been over on the GUMM thread so I can't say exactly how many short posts there are. I was going by the number of GUMM long posts on this thread over the past couple of weeks. When they show up in droves (ala IDTC) on a short thread, that's when my red flag goes up. Figure the stock warrants a look at that point for a possible short entry. No position on GUMM nor any opinion. X
