Except Datek (best I can tell) has no options trading - if I can't write covered calls, I'm not interested.

TFF, I switched from Datek to CyberCorp(CyberX). (CyberX with QCharts is a killer combination.) I don't believe that Datek is a danger to any day trading firm. Datek has consistently inconsistent fills, poor cancelations and abysmal customer service. Regular customer communication about service outages and other system problems is extremely poor.

CyberCorp, on the other hand, has consistently fast fills, extremely fast cancelations (2-5 seconds) and very good customer service. They notify customers when there are system problems. And the attitude toward customers is right on.

Given that CyberCorp lowered their CyberX commissions to $14.95 per ticket with no monthly fees, IMHO CyberCorp will pull daytrading accounts from Datek rather than vice versa.

Except for a small IRA account, I'm out of Datek and I say good riddance!

Regards,

Dan.
