As I understand it so far, Dr. Wolf is arguing that today's teenagers are a little different from those of yesteryear because of the video barrage they have been exposed to, the fact that they have grown up much more without adult supervision for the most part, and are maturing in a frightening world. I have not gotten very far in the book, but I did read an article in the newspaper the other day which also makes one of the same points--that teenagers today are more lonely today than in the past.

I do not like Deepak Chopra. I thought I would, but when I pick up his writings, they are very psycho-babbly.

It must finally be becoming obvious even to the God squad that chimpanzees that can be taught English are fairly close to humans, biologically speaking, and that indeed in all logic we are probably branches of the same family tree. But of course the Ask Godders do not actually use logic, so why am I wasting my time typing this paragraph, anyway?
