Jim, my point was that the P/E is high, by historic standards, for a company that actually has earnings <gg>.

Frankly, it is amazing in some ways to realize that Rambus has held a 300 P/E. when everyone knew there would be no earnings ramp for months in the future. The fear of missing the Bus is a very real concept. And, although Don Green and Mile and others remind us that this is the greatest trading stock, it can go to 140 in a blink if the planets and moons align correctly. So, many believe stay out at your peril.

I frankly do not see Intel support of Rambus waning. Speed of processor is one element, but if the memory interface on a 1 gig. computer cannot handle the data transfer, you might as well be at 500 megahertz. Which, I know, many say is all you need anyway, (yeah, yeah, been there, done that).

I am still intrigued by Timna. Really, that concept could be the breakout product. Still more than a year away, however, so where do we go before then?
