However, I would expect that Coppermine at same frequency will be at least a match for K7 due to its onchip L2. That wouldn't say too much for Intel designers if they need 0.18u+L2 to match K7 but that will translate into a win for Intel unless K7 can also beat Coppermine on frequency.

But K7 will rule the roost until Coppermine comes and have at least its 15 minutes of fame.
