Sounds like you are in with the inner circle. Neil Weintraut is like the "perfect" prototype analyst, isn't he? Not without flaws, but as close to analytical perfection as one can get.

Steve Eskenazi is perhaps more of a "hot shot" analyst (from a media image perspective and in person) but during several meetings and follow ups, I found Steve to be remarkably candid and accurate, especially looking back with 20/20 hindsight on the things he said to me.

I can't really comment on Cohen being a "victim" of his honest opinions... can't even say that Cohen was giving an honest opinion. Based on the way events unfolded in the Media, it seemed like Merrill Lynch wanted to get rid of him for his bearish stance on Amazon... but, could be pure coincidence. He may have been planning his escape to Wit Capital long before. If you can lend perspective as to what happened, I'd love to hear.
