"Promoted by some of the same people," eh?

It isn't all that interesting, really.

All you have done is present another argument against global warming. If you want, I can find one just as convincing that it is a problem. So what?

You still haven't addressed E's central point. What are the consequences if you are wrong about global warming (I'm sure that you can't conceive of this possibility, but try for a moment), and what are the consequences if we are wrong, and global warming is not a problem.

<< It's interesting that the same arguments were being made about an "impending" Ice Age in the late 60s and early 70s, promoted by some of the same people! >>

Interesting indeed. This has been discussed before. One of the possible scenarios of the effects of global warming could be a huge increase in the evaporation in sea water causing so much snowfall in the far North that it won't have a chance to melt in the Summer leading to more sunlight being reflected, causing it to become colder there, causing even more snow there, etc. We know for sure that there were ice ages. What kicked them off? Do you know, or should we maybe find out?

There is not necessarily a contradiction at all. Global warming may actually trigger an ice age. I am not interested in your opinions. I want facts from reputable researchers, and so should you and any other thinking person.
