Was 13 when i saw Jimi too, at the Filmore '69 in SF!
he burned his guitar, (did the lighter-fluid bit)
and was "out-a-site" man!(so was i)
but there was 3 acts that night , (all for the price of $2.50!!)
and on our way home across the Bridge
my friends were raving & "high on Jimi, among other things...in that cool hip way we did...LOL
But i couldn't get that "Blues Man Thing " still ringing
in my ears, out of my head...
those incredibly deep felt blues riffs , pulling on my heart strings
played that same night later on , by this guy called
BB.KING!

it was a very powerful night for a tender young kid of 13, going on 35!

**the naked girl dancing in the strobe lights was really cool too! LOL

dem was the good ol days.... or at least we will always( every generation) remember the days of our youth, The splendour "in the GRASS" and glory in the flowers! LOL~! The rainbow comes and goes , and lovely is the rose... waters on a starry night are both beautiful and fair, yet i know where ever i go, there is a glory that has faded from the earth....

**Wordsworth: ode to immortality
very popular poet of the spirit of the sixties
