John - "let your brain come out and play" ... This sounds like an empowerment of the customer.

Agreed. This again brings home my point that all of our discussion is based on one, somewhat unclear, unattributed, source. I'm with the other John in saying that we will have to wait and see how it comes out. Until I see clearer material from another source or two, I'll assume the best - e.g. that if true at all, the campaign is focused on the customer's brain, not Qualcomm's.

PS My earlier comment (that a 'go, brain, go' campaign focused on the customer's brain was 'less risky') was way too stingy. While that is strictly speaking true, it is like saying that 'Mother Theresa is less bad than Hitler'. I hearby amend it to 'it could have a lot of potential (and little risk)'.

John - A follow up. The filing was for a trademark, and it was:

trademarks.uspto.gov

So, it looks like the slant in the original source of the 'go, brain, go' was incorrect, or at least unintentionally misleading.
