Well, let us just get off each other and try not to jump again unless it's by mutual agreement and for pleasure. Did you really feel taken to the woodshed? I thought I'd been put on a stool in front of the class with a dunce cap squishing my hair down. I'm really sorry. But guess what- speaking of mutual agreement-- We agree!!! We hated Blair Witch!! Although had it not been so hyped, it would have been interesting because of the approach. The idea of letting the actors loose with the cameras and no real script intrigued me (as a one-time actor who hated and sweated through improv classes). As a parent, I was a little surprised and sad for all the young children who were taken to see this. The language was atrocious and boring, and didn't say much for the vocabularies of aspiring actors- although Ammo says teens pretty much talk like that alone and it didn't seem to bother him. ("Mom- if I were hungry and tired and scared, I'd probably use the f word too. Even me.") I didn't expect Shakespeare, but maybe a little variety would have been nice. ANd since it had been advertised as being REALLY scary, I wonder that parents would risk it with such little ones. Ammo liked it, though, and Dan hated it to the squirming, looking at watch point. We all loved S.S. Please see Sixth Sense! I'd be interested in your reaction to it! THere hasn't been much fanfare about it around here and I haven't read any reviews yet. But I certainly recommend it over Blair! Mystery Men is next on my list. A review I read said it was too busy- that you never knew where to look. I love the concept. ANd bet I like it.
