Anyone interested in discussing TA based on 60 minute (hourly) bars (not just daily bar charts)? There's a new thread for discussing TA applied to 60 minute bar charts. techstocks.com

I saw SPNC also...not in, but if it gets volume (200+K) and depending on if/how it gets through $4, I'll go for it. Momentum was kinda flat up until Friday, but it's really kicked up now. This one seems to be more of an alert on volume/price, although I do show quite a few up-trends starting a reversal between April-June. Oscillators waaay up there.

The last volume spike was a loner, with lotsa subsequent trading fizzle and no news. The action Friday afternoon sure looks like something's coming, though, especially after 3:24...oops, check that, trade log shows 47,200 bid or below, 12,300 split, & 45,000 ask or above, much more even than I'd thought. Quite a few small scale matched/crossed trades too, careful, almost looks like some dumping. Prior to 3:24, I see 41,500, 49,200 & 119,400, much better. I'd expect an early dip to ~$3.50, as the price seems to have run too quickly into the close, unaccompanied by the right volume. If there's something coming, volume should keep rolling in. I expect resistance at $4.

Some decent opinions & info on the Yahoo thread; looks like Boston Scientific farted with their Rotablator (check 1200/01) leaving an opening for SPNC. SI thread is dead. No extraordinary SEC filings.

Good luck.
