There are some threads on SI where people talk about the various brokers. I use Schwab since their execution is good. I've heard good things about Waterhouse and DLJ. I'm on the sidelines waiting for stocks to come down to better prices. Disney appears to have further downside to 23 or 18. There are a lot of stocks that appear on the verge of breaking down --- things will get ugly when the favorite stocks start to get dumped, perhaps in a couple of weeks. Potential downside for the S&P 500 to drop down to 1140 from current 1299 (which is down from the high of 1420).
