He is a scout ant for the troops. I would just put him outside. Usually I kill ants but it is Sunday. I don't know...but he has a troops ...I know that.

My fireant story came out today in the Star Telegram. I love my editor. He comes up with the best titles. He called this one I've Seen Fireants and I've Seen Pain.

I think your ant's a worker -- a sterile she. Give her a sip of something sweet and let her wander back to her nest. She'll be punished for being AWOL, but it will work out much better this way.
