Hi wallstreeter; The reason MBTrading can charge the same amount for most ECNs is because their standard commissions have enough fat in them to cover the differences in cost to the trading office.

This is not to say that MBTrading's commissions have more or less fat in them than any particular other competitor. Altech has more fat, for instance, but still charges ECN fees. I think MBTrading is a good choice.
