As I said, I have contributed from time to time to medical relief charities, and have no problem with inter- governmental or multilateral aid on things like immunizations and window screens...I am not an epidemiologist, and my only purpose was to note the controversy and uncertainty reported by a non- partisan organization....There is nothing peculiar about saying that I am including him as an expert in his field, not as someone with an opinion on the climatological aspects of the controversy. Nor is there anything peculiar in noting that I had pasted articles more immediately relevant to the modeling controversy before that...I have no views to speak of, since I am not a climatologist or epidemiologist. I am arrested enough by the surrounding controversy, and alarmed enough at the thought of severe restrictions on economic development, that I am loathe to see us commit ourselves to a highly restrictive regime of "greenhouse gas" controls. That is pretty much my "position".....
