Voop,

See, here is the problem when you move in and out the different
stocks. When you made a profit, you have to pay the taxes on the
profit. You stay in the market and you put money in different
stock. If the stock take a beat, you lost the money in a different
year. Based on tax law, you only allow to deduct your losses up to
$3000. You have to carry it over years for deductions.

Alternatively, if you buy a stock, Intc, Msft, or Csco, you hold them
for 5 - 10 years. The value accumulated over time could be 50 - 100
time over your cost, and you do not pay a penny tax until one day you
decide to get out altogether.
