Glenn that story is true i've talk with serval people at different brokerages and asked if there are traders still using
margin with net stocks to my surprise many are -- what fools! I want to see capitulation first then i'll buy in and hold
again we might see this as we get closer to this months Fed meeting, go big Al-- squeeze the excesses out...

This is clearly the case. I can be patient too.

in regard to margin calls>>>>>
i have a friend that works for one of the big brokerages in the margin department and she told me last night that their margin calls are way up from last year at the same time,,but the alarming thing she told me is ,,that instead of people sending in money to meet their margin calls they can not so they are liquidating accounts,,also an increaseing number of people are just cashing out their accounts rather than put in more money,,,i find this as a truly bearish sign and i thin the cause of this is due to y2k concerns,,
