Did you see that Barnes & Noble broke to a two-year low this week?

I did not notice. Thank you for pointing that out. I should check to see if Merrill still has them as a buy<G>

Yes I did, I have been watching them closely. There is a school of thought that thinks Amazon is not gaining mkt share anymore and the web retail market is actually fracturing in books. Of course amazon is branching out but if they can't hold onto their book clientele it portends poorly in general. Bnbn had good numbers last time around but it is coming off a low base. Anyway to see both stocks get hit (amzn and bnbn) contradicts those claims, which is good for amzn. I am a little concerned about the reiterated buys for yahoo and Aol and not Amazon however. And I am troubled by the lack of amzn advertising... Drugstore.com is still on TV so it isn't just the summer thing, what gives? I love Amazon... please don't tell me I'm not an average consumer!

Keep an eye on women.com for me. I have been checking the site and think there is a lot of potential there. Ivillage didn't have it together and I think the concept of a women's network could get punished for it... I notice women.com pulled their IPO. If I can pick some up for not too much in my IRA I will.
